Short Information

IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 is the national-level common entrance examination conducted jointly by all seven Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER Pune, Mohali, Kolkata, Bhopal, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Berhampur) for admission to their flagship 5-year Integrated BS-MS Dual Degree programme. The IAT score is also used for admission to the Integrated PhD programme at IISc Bangalore. The exam covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology at the Class XII level. Counselling and seat allocation are run jointly by all participating IISERs through a single portal.
