The Election Commission of India operates the Voters' Service Portal (formerly the National Voters' Service Portal, NVSP) where Indian citizens can register as voters, update demographic details, link Aadhaar, download e-EPIC and search the electoral roll. The Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC) is the 10-character alphanumeric identifier issued to every registered voter and is widely accepted as government-issued ID for KYC, banking and government services. Verification confirms enrolment, polling station, assembly constituency and the holder's demographic details. The portal is integrated with state Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) websites for state-specific roll downloads in PDF format.
