The National Career Service (NCS) is the Government of India's flagship employment-services portal that brings job-seekers, employers, training providers and counsellors onto a single platform. Every job-seeker receives an NCS Registration ID; employers complete a verification step (PAN/GST validation) before posting jobs. Verification flows let candidates confirm an employer's bona-fide registration before applying — particularly important for outstation roles and overseas postings. The portal aggregates data from state Employment Exchanges, MSDE skilling missions and PESB (for senior Central PSU appointments). Candidates also access free aptitude assessments and career counselling sessions.
