The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the results for the July 2024 Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). This national-level exam is conducted to certify candidates for teaching positions in schools across India. The CTET covers both Paper I for primary teachers and Paper II for upper primary teachers. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results online. Eligibility for the exam includes various combinations of senior secondary qualifications and diplomas or degrees in education, as per NCTE norms. The selection process involves a written examination, and qualifying CTET is mandatory for appointment as a teacher in many government and private schools. The result announcement marks the completion of the current cycle, and successful candidates can use their CTET certificate for teacher recruitment applications.
